Today`s horse nutrition often lacks a good basic supply of hay of a high quality containing a wide variety of plant species.
 
Mould fungi, dust, contamination, a high protein content and unilateral plant populations give rise to many problems.
 
Every horse keeper is confronted with problems such as dust and fungus allergies, cough, pulmonary diseases, bronchitis, prodermatitis aseptica and a disturbed digestion.
 
The consequences are decreasing performance, a dull coat, high susceptibility to diseases and low nutrient absorption.
 
A good supply of healthy, biologically valuable coarse food optimising a horses digestion with a natural variety of plants is thus essential.
 
Pre Alpin is harvested in the time of the optimum maturity and without ground contact, is carefully dried in a modern warm air facility and pressed to Pre Alpin Cobs under maintenance of the coarse structure suitable for horses. 
 
 
While in conventional hay production losses due to respiration and nutrient consuming secondary fermentation are to be expected, the content of nutrients, trace elements, ß-carotene, vitamin E as well as fine leave particles remain largely unchanged in the production process of Pre Alpin.
 
Pre Alpin restores the original plant diversity in horse forage (up to 60 different plant species).
 
Pre Alpin excellently stimulates salivation and optimises nutrient absorption with respect to the complete rations of your horse due to the high digestibility of it`s raw fibre. (Which is of vital importance for a high performance of your horse.)
